Chaotic and unresponsive operation
Sadly on this occasion the service I received from Chris at SQK Accountancy was subpar and disappointing.
* I found their operation often unresponsive, forcing me to make follow up calls to chase my unread messages and emails.
* I also found their operation overwhelmed and chaotic. My correction requests were often overlooked so I had to waste time and highlight the same mistakes again. They ultimately submitted my company accounts with one of those errors still unfixed, despite me having hi[..]ghlighted it to them on 3 separate occasions - when confronted and despite them being 100% at fault, I received no apology and was merely guided to submit a correction request to HMRC via post myself resulting in delay in my loan application.
* They are also not a native Quickfile accountant, therefore you are asked to refill all your details again on their proprietary portal and progress your work there rather than directly in Quickfile.
